Champions IGA are an independent local supermarket group with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and product.
We currently have two Department Managerpositions available at our Nagambie Supermarket. One vacancy is in the Liquor Department and the other in Perishables. Both positions will suit individuals who are enthusiastic to succeed in the role and have a good work ethic. Management experience is preferred, however relevant retail or stock management experience will also be highly regarded.
The successful applicants will report to the Store Manager and be responsible for the day-to-day operation of their respective Departments. Tasks will include stock ordering and control, rostering, adhering to budgets and management of department staff.

- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
- Be committed to lead, promote and work as part of a dynamic team.
- Capacity to take initiative.
- Be reliable and trustworthy.
- Good physical fitness – manual stock handling and lifting is involved.
- Ability to work in and manage a fast-paced team environment.
- RSA training and current certificate for the Liquor Manager role.
Both positions are full-time and will include some evening and weekend work on a rotating roster.
