We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our Bunnings Sale Store.
As an Assistant Store Manager, you will have the very meaningful job of leading the day to day store operations, ensuring your team build memorable experiences and making your customers D.I.Y. projects a reality. Your store will be your pride and joy - you'll use visual merchandising to your best advantage, aligning this to store marketing plans.
What's involved:
- Support the store leadership team
- Set an example of best service and support the team to deliver friendly and helpful advice to customers
- Coach the team on the right service behaviours
- Assist with inducting and training the team
- Ensure that merchandising standards fit with business requirements
- Coordinate stock
Who we're looking for:
Our ideal candidate will have previous retail leadership experience, leading a department or similar, an individual with a strong passion for customer service and merchandising standards.
This role is results focussed, therefore the ability to achieve results by working closely with your team is a must and you are approachable and confident when interacting with team and customers.
You'll need:
- Experience supervising and leading customer facing teams in a high safety and high compliance environment
- Strong analytical skills
- A passion for customer service
- Ability to coach and develop others, providing feedback and getting the best out of a team
- An ability to achieve results and standards by working with your team
- Open communication style
- Be approachable and confident when interacting with customers
- Have an eagerness to learn about new products
- To be on your feet assisting with customers across a wide range of retail hours
