What you'll be doing
The Department Secretary is responsible in providing high quality secretarial support, efficient and professional service to the Emergency Department Team.
The position is to provide support, and advice for the smooth administrative functioning with the Emergency Department under the leadership of the Director.

Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated experience in providing high level support in a busy work environment. Certificate III in Health Administration or experience in health administration role.
- Well-developed interpersonal, verbal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate with management and staff at all levels.
- Experience in responding to a range of enquiries and determining the appropriate response in a complex work environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the use of computer applications including HPRM, Outlook, MS Office Suite, rostering, and procurement systems.
- Strong organisational skills with demonstrated ability to plan, organise, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated excellent written communication skills including preparation of reports, briefings, minutes and agendas, spreadsheets, and databases.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve results at the individual level and as a member of a dynamic team.
