Depot Manger – Grafton
The Role
This role is responsible for effectively managing our Grafton local operations including our fleet and depot team to ensure we meet customer service expectations. Being responsible for the Grafton depot, vehicles, equipment, and infrastructure the role naturally has accountabilities for compliance, safety and company standards.
Reporting to the General Manager, the role is relatively autonomous, whilst being fully accountable for overall performance of the branch in an array of measurable areas.
As the business evolves and relentlessly pursues growth and productivity, underpinned by technology, a large part of the role is driving change. Being able to Initiate and execute operational improvements are key requirements as this role will lead a move to a much larger depot in 2024.

The Person
We are looking for a leader that will take ownership for all operational, and service outcomes in the Grafton depot. The right person will be able to demonstrate strong leadership and organizational skills in a dynamic environment as well as the capacity to introduce improvements including new technologies and measure outcomes.
The right person will have the determination to steadfastly promote a culture of safety & standards whilst balancing the dynamics of the business where priorities and plans can shift by the hour.
A freight background is highly desirable, however the ability to build and lead a highly productive operation with a strong people and service culture is mandatory.
