Job description

The Department of Justice and Attorney-General (DJAG) is a diverse department, which works towards justice for all Queenslanders through safe, fair and responsible community outcomes.
The newly created Justice Policy and Reform division, within the DJAG, is one of seven divisions. The division comprises around 200 employees with specialist skills that are responsible for a range of functions, including Strategic Policy and Legislation, Justice Reform Office, First Nations Justice Office, Regulatory Policy, Secretariats support, and oversight of Special Projects and Statutory Reviews.
Reporting to the Director-General and serving as a crucial member of the Board of Management, the Deputy Director-General, Justice (DDG) Policy and Reform assumes the responsibility of leading a substantial and ambitious Policy and Reform agenda within the Justice Portfolio.
