SalaryAn exciting opportunity exists for a dedicated and innovative Deputy Principal to join the team at Sandgate District State High School. The successful candidate will play a vital role in improving the educational outcomes of students by leading the school's teaching and learning strategic agenda. This is a temporary full-time position for a period of 12 months, unless otherwise determined.

About the Role:
Responsibilities inlcude, but not limited to;
- Assist the Principal to lead the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Deputise for the Principal when required.
- Uphold the Deputy Principalship as a values based, ethical and moral activity.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
- Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
- Form partnerships with parents, other government agencies, community groups, industry and business.
The successful applicant will lead Teaching and Learning, whole school literacy and numeracy strategies, professional development, school awards ceremonies, collegial engagement and eLearning across the school.
