This well established boutique Design Studio is seeking a Design Director. This opportunity is unique on its own and would be suitable for someone who is currently a Senior Interior Designer or a Senior Design Associate looking to step up and become a Design Director. What you'll need to succeed
- Project experience in the Commercial/Workplace sector is mandatory (you must have at least worked in this sector for min. 3+ years);
- Have led and project managed projects from concept, client presentations all the way to completion;
- Leadership and management experience is a bonus;
- Revit software is ideal, but not mandatory. If you have some exposure in Revit, i.e. technical drawings, it would be highly advantageous;
- Leading the generation of concepts and pitching to clients working at the front end of projects in conjunction with senior designers and associates;
- Must be a great people person and collaborator as you will be liaising between client relations, cost managers and project managers in-house daily;
- Preferably, you will have large project experience if not mid-sized is okay too; and
- You are inquisitive, adaptable and always keen to improve.
