The Role
Within the Military Workforce Design Division, the team is currently focused on working with Navy (future reviews to be conducted on other parts of Defence) undertaking a series of Command and Control Organisational reviews.
Using a bespoke Organisational Design methodology through the lens of functions and data, the structural and workforce changes are complex, requiring a program lead to manage the approach, analysis, resources and delivery of recommendations to ensure Navy (and Defence) has the workforce positioned to deliver against priorities.
This role will also support the subsequent organisational change, and requires high level of influence, coordination, communication and negotiation skills, particularly working with key and high level stakeholders across Defence.
About our Team
The team consists of 3 Program Leads focused on the Functional review, Data Information and Analysis, and Change Management, along with supporting staff.
The team of up to 10 consists of ADF and APS employees working closely together on the suite of tasks, and requires cross sharing of effort and resources to deliver outcomes.
Our Ideal Candidate
Seeking experience and understanding of workforce planning, organisational design concepts and data management. You will need the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, large amounts of data, lead resources, and adhere to tight timeframes.
Strong written skills and ability to present complex information to varied audiences is essential, along with demonstrating resilience in a dynamic and demanding environment.
