We specialise in the manufacture of drill systems and all associated ancillary equipment related to gas drainage and general engineering.
What we are looking for….
As part of our ongoing expansion and business growth, we are seeking the services of an experienced Design Draftsperson to join our team.
This role is responsible for supporting and expanding the engineering function within CH4 Drilling. The role will encompass designing, refining, and developing 3D models, 2D drawings and presentations in line with legacy work and new designs/systems in the future. The role will also be responsible for borehole design work in AutoCad 2D with associated borehole completion process. Document control and process improvement will also fall under the responsibility of the role.
Selection Criteria - Essential:
- High level Computer skills
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Sound mechanical and hydraulics knowledge
- Ability to understand a plan and know when to question the plan or report a non-compliance to the plan
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build and sustain relationships and networks with site tradesmen and mechanical/electrical departments
- Good written and oral communication and reporting skills, with the ability to communicate as a representative of the company professionally and effectively

- Engineering discipline
