AddressPro Ali Design is seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Draftsperson to join our team of professionals on a permanent full-time basis.
Our new drawing office provides our team with the latest computer technology, ergonomic desks & wrap around screens provide an immersive environment to be a creative and cohesive detailed design team.
About the Role
Your daily duties will include but not be limited to:
- Creating 3D models including assemblies & sub-assemblies
- Prepare manufacturing drawings & preparation of BOMs (bill of materials)
- Working closely with management to understand and meet customer requirements including schedules, design requirements & specifications
- Assisting with resource planning & backlog prioritisation
- Organise and communicate information
- Performing tasks with minimal supervision

About You
As integral part of the team you'll bring your experience and strong work ethic along with having:
- Permanent Australian residency and full working rights is essential to this role
- 3-5 years’ experience in mechanical design drafting is essential
- Demonstrated history of mechanical work with design of production machinery or conveyors - a background of work focused on Food segments is highly regarded
- Experience drafting structural weldments & sheet metal components
- Proficiency in Solidworks & Autodesk AutoCAD
- A wide range of hands-on practice in drafting, design, calculations & quality control
- Self-motivation for autonomous work
