The Opportunity
The demand for our product is growing at a rapid pace and we require an additional Design Engineer to join our small engineering team responsible for designing Bioaction’s filtration systems for both small and large projects as well as improvements to our existing products.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Design Products and Systems under the direction of the Project Engineer
- Participate in design meetings with clients
- Produce system designs for fabrication at Bioaction’s factory and work collaboratively with fabrication team
- Communicate with suppliers and external fabricators
- Preparation of project documentation including QA packages (ITP’s etc)
- Maintain up to date knowledge of engineering standards, review and update or amend Bioaction and client standards as directed.
- Engage in continuous improvement and design and development, provide input to discussions and implement changes.
About You
- Mechanical Engineering Degree
- Experience with 3D CAD packages (Autodesk Inventor preferable)
- Experience in updating manuals and designs
- Good knowledge of quality standards, principles and guidelines
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with team members in a practical and effective way
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects at once
- Good level of written and oral communications with multiple stakeholders
- Good ability to build and maintain good relationships with multiple stakeholders.
