AddressWe are seeking a Design Engineer with Temporary Works experience to join a highly successful, tech-driven business with a fantastic reputation in the market.
The role
- Structural and civil design, analysis and detailing of high-quality plans and documentation
- Carry out site inspections and prepare site inspection reports
- Providing support to other staff during the completion of projects
- Establish and apply professional engineering standards and procedures
- Maintaining regular and timely communication with managers and colleague on progress and issues that develop relating to ongoing projects
- Establishing ongoing rapport with colleagues and clients
- You will have a minimum of 3 years + engineering experience in scaffolding, formwork and temporary structures, as well as previous site-based experience (highly regarded)
- Degree-qualified and a member of Engineers Australia, you will have a strong understanding and practice of structural design, drafting skills and working knowledge of Australian Building Codes and Standards.
- Proficiency across a range of software packages such as AutoCAD, Tekla or Revit, your strengths will be your strong technical ability and conceptual understanding
- You will be a solid communicator with high attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
