About the Role:
We are seeking applications for the position of Mechanical Engineer – Evening Shift for our global headquarters and manufacturing campus in Murarrie, Brisbane. You’ll be part of a supportive team, backed by your Leader to grow and achieve your own personal goals in the team. This role is a full-time position Monday to Friday, Evening Shift.
Reporting to the Mechanical Engineering Manager, your key responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Provision of Mechanical Engineering support for production Evening Shift: working hours 3pm – 11:30pm
- Mechanical design and improvements to production jigs & fixtures
- Support process engineers in improvements to processes and production systems, including identify opportunities for automation and robotics
- Identify and implement improvements to product design
- Provision of technical support to procurement, quality, and other departments
- 3D modelling and creation of manufacturing drawings
- Implement, comply with and enforce NOJA Power quality, environmental and workplace
health and safety procedures.
What You’ll bring:
- Minimum 3 years Mechanical Engineering industry experience
- Experience in providing engineering support in a mass manufacturing environment
- Excellent project management skills.
- Fantastic teamwork and communication skills.
