Our client is a leading Melbourne based Australian manufacturer of insulated board systems for the construction industry. Over the last few years, they have grown and become an industry leader.

We are currently seeking a suitable person to be the Despatch Coordinator/Customer service to work in their manufacturing facility located in Truganina.

This is a permanent full-time role for immediate start.

Role

• Plan coordinate and prepare daily freight manifests / proof of deliveries.
• Sales invoicing and raising Purchase Orders for missing consumables on WMS system.
• Calling customers and advising product availability and delivery details.
• Liaising with truck drivers and arranging deliveries -up to 10 trucks per day.
• Internal liaising with sales / production / Stores.
• Sourcing small consumables from set supplier and raising purchase orders as necessary.
• Receipting purchase orders on WMS system.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in invoicing / despatch / purchasing / admin paperwork including daily manifests.
• Computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite & WMS systems.
• Good numerical and accuracy skills.
• Be well organized with a positive can-do attitude.
• Good communication skills with internal and external stake holders.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Have valid driver's licence and own transport.
• Reliable and punctual
