Despatch Coordinator

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Despatch Coordinator to join our clients team. As a Despatch Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing the logistics of our drivers and ensuring efficient pickup and drop-off services in the Gold Coast and Brisbane regions.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and access to a car
- Previous experience in a despatch coordinator role
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Familiarity with using a hub system (generic courier system)
- Great customer service
- Ability to manage drivers on the road, throughout the year normally 7-10 drivers on the road
- Have a good understanding of Gold Coast and Brisbane to give drivers feedback on routes
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating and dispatching drivers for on-demand jobs
- Utilising the hub system to send out jobs to drivers
- Managing drivers on the road, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries
- Handling bookings over the phone and providing excellent customer service
- Working independently to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Collaborating with the team to streamline processes and improve efficiency
