An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and results focussed individual to join our projects team based in Melbourne. This role will require you to utilise your highly developed project management skills to ensure economies of scale for your land estates are achieved along with time and quality parameters. Working from the design phase through to civil construction completion, you will drive and motivate all stakeholders to achieve successful project delivery outcomes. Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing leadership for the delivery and commercial performance of major residential land development projects, including stakeholder negotiation and liaison.
- Monitoring market/competitor activity in relation to the direction and performance of the project/s, implementing product changes in conjunction with the cross functional project team to maintain competitiveness.
- Ensuring on time/on budget delivery of all project stages, particularly approvals and title procurement.
- Proactively identifying project business risks and initiating risk mitigation strategies.
- Maintaining strong relationships with local/state government agencies, clients and project Management Committee members.
- Preparation of Board reports and project financial analysis.
To be successful in this role, you will be degree qualified in a related discipline and will have a minimum of 6 years experience leading major residential land development projects. You will have strong commercial acumen and will be adept at managing large project budgets. You will recognise the importance of collaborating with others across the business to achieve the company’s shared goal of delivering commercially sound projects that meet community needs.
A current driver's licence is essential as is access to a motor vehicle for business purposes.
