Our team manages every one of these locations. And we work side-by-side with our business units on all things in the property lifecycle, from site acquisition through to asset management.
Are you ready to take on an exciting role that offers exposure to a diverse range of projects? Coles is seeking a talented Development Manager for NSW who thrives on variety and challenge, working across mixed-use, greenfield, and brownfield development projects.
In this dynamic position, you will collaborate closely with our Capital Transactions team, which consistently feeds new opportunities into our pipeline. You'll have the autonomy to quickly assess and address new projects, making impactful decisions that drive our growth.

You'll also:
• Establish strategic development parameters: cost, sales disruption, time, quality, safety, compliance.
• Deliver development outcomes within pre-determined parameters.
• Negotiate & influence with internal and external partners.
• Recommend and implement design improvements, cost and time saving improvements.
• Effectively communication with and manage all project management resources.
• Facilitate pre-construction due diligence team activities.
With 5-10 years experience in a property related role (minimum of 3 in a Development Management capacity) you have relevant qualifications in Building and Construction.
You'll have proven experience delivering multiple capital works projects and developments, particularly mixed-use projects, and come from a planning/legal/engineering background.
You'll also have:
• A working knowledge of construction contracts & consultant agreements
• A demonstrated knowledge of project management software
• Good financial acumen and cost plan management skills
• Financial knowledge to prepare and validate development feasibility models in Estate Master (or similar) computer packages.
• Key knowledge of BCA, Planning, Legislative requirements to deliver property development projects.
• Ability to brief legal counsel, with capability to instruct at Court and Panel hearings (VCAT).
