Period of AppointmentAppointment to the role is on a fixed term full time basis (up to 73.5 hours per fortnight) for 3 months.
Duties- Manage Screen Tasmania’s Project Development Program, including reading and analysing a range of funding applications across all screen genres and providing creative and market advice to screenwriters and creatives.
- Manage funding rounds, including appointing external readers, assessment of applications against eligibility criteria, and preparation of succinct and well-argued papers for consideration by the Screen Tasmania Expert Advisory Group.
- Present papers and projects to the Screen Tasmania Expert Advisory Group.
- Contribute to the delivery of industry development programs and initiatives aimed at building industry capability in key focus areas.
- Build and maintain networks throughout the Australian screen industry, particularly among screenwriters, directors, and creative producers.
- Represent Screen Tasmania at industry events and seminars, which may include some travel within the state and interstate.
- Contribute to the operation of Screen Tasmania preparing relevant briefing, correspondence and documentation.
- Undertake other duties as required by the Executive Manager, Screen Tasmania.
