Job description

The Peet Story

We’re a leading, ASX-listed residential property developer with almost 130 years of experience creating communities across Australia for people to call home.

To us, home isn’t just a block of land, four walls or somewhere you can point to on a map. It’s how a place can make you feel — secure, serene, inspired and connected.

Peet places are renowned for their innovative, sustainable and human-centred design, built for today and future proofed for tomorrow.

Our legacy grows with each community we create, with each address that becomes a meaningful part of someone’s story, with each customer who we help to find their home, and with each person who joins our team.

If you’re eager to be part of this story, then Peet is where you belong.

Job Opportunity

This is an opportunity for an entry-level or recent graduate Development Officer to join a highly successful ASX listed company in Peet’s Development Team, located in Perth.

Our Development Officers are responsible for assisting the Development teams across multiple master planned community projects in various stages of the project lifecycle to implement project vision, strategy, commercial objectives, program deliverables and everyday administration.

The role will be offered in a permanent full-time capacity, enabling you to showcase and develop your skills and be supported by an experienced, dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the development team
  • Prepare and support regular project reporting
  • Support the Development team with profit centre management
  • Conduct market research on external conditions and influences
  • Lead the invoicing process for the projects
  • Assist and review the implementation of Project Safety Plans
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support an efficient delivery of project outcomes

About You

If this sounds like the perfect start to your property development career and you have the following experience, we’d love to hear from you:

  • Recently graduated or soon to graduate with a qualification in Property, Valuations, Project Management, Engineering, Finance, Economics or Commerce
  • A basic understanding of the macro and micro economic, social and political factors that drive the land, built form and residential housing market
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Intermediate skills in MS Word and Excel
  • Keen interest in a career in property development
  • Any financial modelling, analysis and budgeting skills is desirable, but not essential

Working at Peet

You’ll have the opportunity to apply your expertise, challenge yourself and develop your skills, all while working alongside the industry’s most respected and experienced talent.

Supported by inspirational leaders, you’ll become your best here, with access to a diverse portfolio of projects and valuable growth opportunities that will springboard your career.

Plus, we offer a range of benefits including flexible working arrangements, salary continuance insurance, corporate memberships and a thriving community calendar of events.
