On the back of an excellent financial year where we have grown into new markets and customers, we recently achieved number 22 on the Australian Financial Reviews Fast 100 List and the growth is continuing in the new year.
Our Federal Government Customer has requirements for up to 10 DevOps Engineers to join a major long-term program of work. The DevOps specialists will be required to enable the delivery of systems changes, improve and implement DevOps practices in the branch. The roles are due to start from the 1st of July with initial 12-month contracts on offer plus extension options. We can also consider this role in a permanent capacity for the right person.
You will be responsible for the following:
- Responsibility for infrastructure, test environment management including monitoring and observability. This includes troubleshooting and investigation of environment related issues.
- Providing technical support for environment builds, retrofitting, decommissioning and environment management.
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) including implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines with a focus on automating the building, testing and deployment of software changes.
- Collaboration with developers, architects, operations, and other SMEs to ensure streamlined transition of changes between development, testing and production environments.
- Identifying and execution of opportunities under continuous improvement to automate provisioning and configuration of infrastructure.
Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated experience in AWS public cloud platform, services, and supporting technologies including but not limited to.
- Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, AWS Cloud Development Kit).
- Orchestration and Automation (Lambda, Step Functions, Glue).
- DevOps Tools (JIRA, Gitlab, AWS CodeCommit/Build/Deploy/Pipeline).
- Coding Languages (R and/or Python and/or SQL, JavaScript/Typescript).
