What you'll be doing
The Clinical Dietitian for Blacktown/Mt Druitt Hospital diabetes service is responsible for the dietary assessment and nutrition education/ counselling of adults with diabetes in an ambulatory service across the hospital settings
They are responsible for educating other health professional regarding the dietary management of the speciality areas.

Blacktown hospital car parking allocation model is changing. There is a managed waitlist for parking for new staff commencing at Blacktown Hospital. This does not apply to staff with a disability parking permit.

Essential Requirements
Qualification: Bachelor or post graduate degree in Nutrition and Dietetics that provides eligibility for full membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia
Registration: Dietitians Association of Australia(DAA)
Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated clinical expertise in the management of clients with complex Type 2 diabetes, Type 1 and diabetes in pregnancy
- Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member as well as work independently, including flexibility and adaptability
- Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritise and organise own workload
- Experience in designing, implementing and evaluating research projects and experience in participating in quality improvement projects
