Diesel Mechanic

Fork Force has state-of-the-art forklift service workshops, fully equipped mobile service vans and a nationwide network of professional service agents.
Fork Force is currently looking for hardworking and dedicated Diesel Mechanics to join their team.
Duties and responsibilities will include:

• Conduct mechanical repairs and maintenance of forklifts which includes preventative service and breakdowns on time.
• Carry out all repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
• Document work completed on each repair order to ensure accurate information transfer.
• Routine servicing of forklift and equipment
• Rebuilding/Replacement of forklift engines, transmissions, and fuel Systems
• Remove, replace and refit associated electrical and electronic systems.
• Diagnose and service mechanical faults.
• Demonstrating and maintaining clean workshop practices in your day-to-day role and ensuring that these practices meet the high standards held by the workshop team
• Maintain safe working conditions and practices.
• Working efficiently and accurately and in line with company policy and procedure.

• Relevant trade qualification ( Heavy Vehicle, Diesel Mechanic, Forklift Mechanic).
• At least 2 years of relevant experience
• Forklift Licence would be an advantage.
• Diagnostic experience
• Ability to show a high level of skills in following manufactures guidance ensuring quality workmanship.
