THE ROLE:
Hallett Maintenance Services are a growing team that are making a real difference to the reliability and performance of our quarries and concrete divisions. The team carry out high quality maintenance and repair of all mobile plant, including scheduled maintenance and servicing across the Hallett Group of Companies. Due to continual growth within the business we are looking for Heavy Diesel Mechanics, or Light Vehicle Mechanics looking to upskill, to join the Maintenance team on a permanent basis with relocation on offer from within Australia. Light Vehicle qualified or 3rd/4th year Heavy Vehicle Apprentice candidates are encouraged to apply.
QUALIFICATIONS | EXPERIENCE | SKILLS:
• Heavy diesel mechanical trade or light vehicle mechanic’s qualification.
• Committed to working safety, assessing risk and putting appropriate controls in place
• Experience working on and servicing on highway trucks/trailers & heavy plant and equipment.
• Experience in hydraulics and pneumatics preferred
• Proven experience in breakdown repairs to heavy equipment
• Electrical system diagnoses and repairs
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work without direct supervision.
• Willing to undertake pre-employment functional assessment and drug and alcohol testing
• Current Drivers licence
