The role & team
Specsavers have a high performing Retail Training and Design Team of seventeen based in Port Melbourne. In the last three years, the team have demonstrated industry leadership winning many awards at AITD and LearnX; for Best eLearning, Best Game Design (AR App), Best Onboarding, Best Learning Culture Strategy, Best Learning Campaign, Best shift it online, Best L&D Team and also Best Learning Design Team.

Joining our team as a Digital Content Producer, you'll step into this newly created role reporting to the Digital Design Manager. Collaborating closely with the wider Retail Training and Design Team, consisting of Learning Design, Digital Design, and Learning Systems, you'll support content production requests across functions. Your primary focus will be cultivating and maintaining strong collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders to produce high-quality video and digital learning content that effectively communicates Specsavers' brand message, engages our audience, and supports our organisational goals. From conception to execution, this role offers a platform to showcase talent and make meaningful contributions to a diverse range of projects spanning different platforms and audiences.

We believe in adopting a hybrid approach to support our people and the future of work. When not working from an alternate location, this role will be based at our support office in Port Melbourne. 
 

The skills we are looking for

  • Minimum of five years of experience in Digital Content production or similar roles.
  • Strong understanding of cinematography principles: composition, lighting and camera techniques.
  • Proficiency in video production tools/software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Audition. 
  • Excellent storytelling skills, with the ability to translate concepts and scripts into compelling visual narratives. 
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with diverse teams and stakeholders.  
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines. 
  • A qualification in video production, multimedia or digital design is highly desired.
  • Desired skills: proficiency in livestream hybrid events (Microsoft Teams and Zoom); eLearning authoring tools (Articulate 360 Rise or Chameleon Creator); and graphic design for Microsoft 365 (Powerpoint and Word).
