Aligned with the Government's ambitious emissions reduction objectives of achieving a 43% reduction in net emissions by 2030 and net zero by 2050, they prioritise technology innovation and commercialisation to drive positive outcomes for Australia. This pivotal role is crucial in driving awareness, engagement, and alignment with the organisations mission across digital platforms, while collaborating closely with the Corporate Affairs team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the monthly newsletter and develop editorial schedules
- Prepare and edit online news stories for the blog and briefing materials for videos, animations, and podcasts
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on announcements and reports
- Manage production of the podcast, managing the agency from pre-production to publishing and promotion
- Contribute to the overall content strategy and implementation
- Ensure all digital content created meets accessibility standards
- Implement usability best practice
- Report on the content and digital channels
Requirements
- Strong experience in Digital communication
- Experience with radio and podcast production
- Writing high quality content
- Web publishing and preparing eDMs
- Understanding of current online trends
- Ability to work in an agile environment
- Be creative, passionate as well as a forward thinker
