Based in Melbourne, the Digital Content Producer is responsible for creating content and updating the digital product and user experiences for Powershop/Shell Energy’s digital channels. Additionally, this role will support the digital price and product change process when required by the business. This includes maintaining clear historical documentation regarding content management and working closely with the legal and compliance team to gain sign off prior to publishing new content.
Reporting to the Senior Digital Product Manager, this role will require coordination with third party agency relationships to ensure that new content is aligned to Shell Energy compliant standards. These agencies will be working with Powershop in a squad fashion for new digital projects, continuous improvement and website and application safety initiatives.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Create new Digital Content aligned to our digital strategy;
- Support the digital price change process. Including reviewing prices for different states;
- Work with third-party agencies who develop and maintain digital assets for the business;
- Update the website and mobile app, where ‘no-code’ configuration is available;
- Maintain the legally required documentation on the website with guidance from both legal and compliance teams;
- Respond to stakeholder requests for changes to Digital Content;
- Propose new ideas aligned to help the business achieve its strategic goals;
- Coordinate launch of new products, features and content via cross-collaboration with other teams including Marketing, Legal and Compliance etc;
- Support Marketing tag management, SEO requests and redirect management for the website; and
- Review changes and making improvements to deliver business objectives.
What you'll bring
- Good understanding of written tone for customer facing channels;
- Experience in content creation and/or content strategy implementation;
- Experience delivering projects such as band campaigns and initiatives;
- Marketing or advertising experience, such as coordinating content with external agency providers;
- Content Management Systems (CMS), or ecommerce platforms such as updating Digital Content or working with development teams on content implementation;
- Any experience maintaining or updating the website content or product content;
- Experience within the utilities or energy industries would be beneficial;
- Experience with regulatory or legal teams desired;
- Knowledge around search engine optimisation (SEO) and ideal content for search purposes; and
- Analytical and critical thinking.
