About the role

We have a newly established position available for a Digital Delivery Manager to join us to lead the project and portfolio planning, prioritisation, and delivery excellence for the Digital group.

The Digital Delivery Manager will work closely with key leaders and stakeholders to ensure that all phases of the delivery lifecycle are established, optimised and delivering successfully.

The role requires a hands-on leader who leads by example with a solution-oriented mindset.

Accountabilities:

• Manage the day-to-day priorities and activities within the projects group
• Provide leadership and guidance on the Digital delivery model
• Oversee project governance processes
• Collaborate with business leaders to develop and enhance project and portfolio methodologies.
• Monitor and report on project performance, identifying areas for improvement, and addressing risk areas.
• Foster a collaborative, inclusive and high-performance model
• Establish an effective pipeline and planning process

About You

You will be someone who can demonstrate your experience working in a demanding environment with proven capacity to prioritise, multi-task, achieve goals, perform, and always work with a customer-focused approach.

Furthermore, you have:

• 5 years + experience in a project leadership role (eg PMO, Project Delivery Leader), built on deep hands-on project management experience across a range of small and large digital projects.
• Knowledge of methodologies, tools, and governance related to continuous improvement and project management.
• Experience in establishing and delivering high quality project services to business stakeholders through demonstrated experience.
• Experience in all areas of the initiative lifecycle - from business engagement, requirements definition/analysis, project planning & scoping, project delivery management, and resource and vendor management
• Ability to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience and understanding of a broad range of systems, applications, data and technology
• Highly effective verbal and written communications skills, with strong Influencing and negotiating skills
• Possession of a Project Management Professional Certification would be beneficial.
• Demonstrated understanding of a variety of project management methodologies and proficient in project management tools and software.
