Reporting to: Head of Creative/Marketing Director
Position Details: Full Time, 12 months Fixed Term Contract
Location: Hybrid: Rowville Office (2 days pw) and WFH.

Tiger Tribe create beautiful, compact and portable activity sets, toys and stationery for kids aged 0-12 years. Originally established in 2007 from humble beginnings, Anthony and Naomi Green created Tiger Tribe with a vision to nurture confidence and creativity in kids. Our products are designed by our fabulous in house local design team and provide screen-free unplugged play for kids and babies on the go. We’re a small and passionate team that pride ourselves in creating great products and having fun along the way.

Tiger Tribe is also the exclusive Australian distributor of Crocodile Creek and Speedy Monkey brands.

About the Role/Responsibilities

Joining a small design and marketing team, this position brings our brand to life across digital communications channels. We’re looking for someone with that creative eye, a strong brand aesthetic and versatile design skills that can be used to beautifully communicate our brand and products across various digital formats. You will be responsible for: 
Brand Development: 

With basic brand guidelines as a start, your role will be to build the brand identity across all digital platforms globally. 

Digital Design: 

Create visually appealing and highly engaging communications for our brands and products across websites, email marketing, social media, paid ads and other analog formats as required.

Email Marketing:
Designing templates for each brand and building and sending emails to different audiences including testing and review for best practice and improvement

Campaign Support: 
Collaborate with the marketing team to design graphics and visuals for promotional campaigns, ensuring consistency and creativity in all materials with a customer centric approach.

Content Creation: 
Generate engaging visual content, including animations, video, GIFs for social media, websites and advertising that effectively communicate how products and our brand solves customer needs

Digital Asset Management:
Ensure effective and accurate publishing of created assets and maximise global usage through efficient and timely updating, distribution and access. 

Thought Leadership: 
Stay up-to-date with design trends, digital best practices, AI, and technology to bring innovative ideas and solutions to the team.

Collaboration: 
Work closely with cross-functional inhouse and outsourced teams to ensure design concepts align with overall brand. Sometimes you will need to work across design projects that may include catalogues, trade show stand design or even product packaging.

The ideal candidate will have these skills & experience:

  • Tertiary degree in Design, Digital Media, Visual Communications or a related field
  • At least three years’ experience in Graphic Design with proven ability to bring marketing campaigns to life across multifaceted digital communication channels
  • Expert knowledge in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, Lightroom, Bridge and After Effects/Premier Pro (or other similar video editing software)
  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and colour theory. You’re the go-to person to build the brand aspiration. You’’ll need to ideate and conceptualise with strong creative flair and have a keen eye for detail.
  • Animation experience with a portfolio to showcase commercial projects
  • Deep understanding of brand identity systems and experience applying brand guidelines to complex and detailed projects
  • Experience designing and building email marketing templates (Klaviyo experience preferred) including campaign building, testing and sending
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web design principles.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to create and maintain file management systems
