Join BMD and form an integral part of the Marketing and Communications team (from Brisbane as part of the Group team) to support the business and brand on our growth trajectory. This role involves the planning, execution and optimisation of the BMD Group’s online channels and marketing initiatives.

About the role
Within an industry leading and growing business, you will have opportunities to make an impact in growing the BMD Group brand through our digital presence to drive awareness and engagement. You’ll be ready to hit the ground running utilising your website and digital channel experience, with the following forming part of your remit:
- Expertly manage the Group’s websites and related email and digital channels, in a coordinated and collaborative way.
- Assist in project managing and working with external web developers to rebuild the BMD website.
- Work in partnership with content experts within the Marketing and Communications team to create, publish and monitor high-quality digital content for a range of audiences.
- Engage your extensive experience of best practice principles across digital platforms, including human-centred design, web accessibility and UX research.
- Implement your experience across a suite of technologies and tools, including demonstrated experience in working with Content Management Systems (e.g. Tank, WordPress), analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe Creative Cloud or similar), Electronic Direct Mail systems (e.g. Campaign Monitor), Website Content Accessibility Guidelines, and Search Engine Optimisation.
- Champion digital content strategy working with content experts within the Marketing and Communications team to create, approve and publish content.
- Analyse digital metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Manage the digital asset library including strategy for digital content requirements.
About you
- Possess a bachelor qualification in Digital Marketing or similar.
- 4+ years’ experience in a Digital Marketing role.
- Excellent communication and people skills, with an ability to develop relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation.
- Skills and experience in editing and post production of videography, and graphic design (using Adobe suite) is desirable for this role.
- Thorough understanding of web development processes and project management techniques.
- Enjoy learning new techniques, tools and systems, and sharing your knowledge.
