About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Country Racing Victoria (CRV) marketing team on a 12-month Maternity Leave cover role. Reporting to the acting E-Commerce Marketing Manager, you will be part of a small team working together to support CRV’s 66 Country Clubs in their Digital Marketing efforts. You will be highly analytical, adaptable and have a willingness to perform a variety of Digital Marketing and customer service tasks. Based out of our head office in Flemington, the position offers the chance to work from home and will require occasional travel to country Victoria. The successful applicant will be offered flexible working conditions (currently two days in the office per week), and a great team environment.
Key Actions & Activities
- Perform club support duties, including uploading event & ticketing information on the EngageRM platform.
- Liaise with clubs to ensure club websites are properly maintained and regularly updated
- Work closely with the acting E-Commerce Marketing Manager & CRV’s digital agencies to enhance the website using the EngageRM & Sitecore platforms.
- Perform User Acceptance Testing of new website features and ensure that the website is stable during website enhancements
- Conduct regular audits to ensure consistency of language, currency and ensure assets are in line with promotional priorities
- Assist with Digital Marketing communications using the Microsoft Marketing platform.
- Assist the Customer Service Coordinator in performing customer service tasks, including responding to inbound phone calls & responding to email enquiries when the Customer Service Coordinator needs additional support.
- Assist the wider marketing team where required, such as through the creation of digital assets using Canva.

- Ensure digital communications and websites meet CRV’s brand style guidelines and sponsor obligations
- Effective relationship development and maintenance with race club and agency staff
- Customer service enquiries are handled in a timely and professional manner

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – particularly Word & Excel
- Experience with Sitecore, EngageRM/Microsoft Dynamics and/or Microsoft Marketing an advantage, but not required.
- Experience with Canva and/or Adobe Creative Cloud Platforms an advantage, but not required – Photoshop, InDesign and Acrobat.
- Tertiary qualified an advantage, but not required (marketing or digital field)
- Victorian Driver’s license holder preferred.
