Role: Digital Marketing Coordinator
Reports to: Head of Marketing
Background: NextEd Group (ASX: NXD) operates a group of 11 education businesses plus a global international student recruitment agency, each year educating and inspiring more than 30,000 students. The Technology & Design (T&D) Division includes Coder Academy, ISCD, and AIT – and specialises in providing students with innovative education in the areas of IT, Web Development, Interactive Media, and Digital and Interior Design.
Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our team of six. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Digital Marketing, a keen eye for detail, be extremely organised, and have a strong understanding of various online marketing channels. You will play a pivotal role in executing and optimising our Digital Marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, engagement, and ultimately the conversion of leads into students.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Online Webinar Management:
- Execute successful monthly online webinars.
- Coordinate event logistics, including registration, content creation and promotion, rehearsals, speakers, and technical setup.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to repurpose webinar content for maximum impact across platforms and improve event promotion strategies.
- Analyse post-event metrics and provide recommendations to optimise results.
2. Campaign Asset Management:
- Work closely with our designer and ensure Digital Marketing assets are briefed and approved.
- Project manage campaign assets, to ensure our marketing strategy is achieved across organic social media, email and paid advertising.
3. Website Updates:
- Manage our Web Dev agency to manage the monthly retainer time we have allocated.
- Ensure timely updates to the company website, including content refreshes, product/service updates, and landing page optimisations.
- Use our CMS to publish new content on the website.
- Monitor website performance, track user engagement metrics, and provide recommendations for improving user experience.
4. Analytics, Reporting, and Research
- Prepare reports with actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Conduct competitive analysis to identify opportunities and areas for differentiation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience (2-3 years) in Digital Marketing, preferably in a coordinator role.
- Good time management and organisational skills are essential. Previous project management experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in using Digital Marketing platforms such as social media management tools, email marketing software, and analytics platforms. Preferably Hubspot, WordPress and GA4.
