We are on the lookout for our new Digital Marketing Specialist to join our close-knit and supportive team! Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Communications, this highly valued role has the ability to have a meaningful impact on the quality of living of persons with complex physical disabilities by implementing Youngcare’s fundraising marketing plan by creating interest and awareness of our brand, campaigns and events.
Our successful new team member will be comfortable working hands-on and collaboratively, supporting the business across a number of key technical areas, including:
Digital Marketing Strategy:
- Collaborate with the Head of Marketing, Marcoms team and Fundraising team to develop an integrated Digital Marketing strategy.
- Ensure alignment with the fundraising team’s goals and values.
Social Media Strategy:
- Plan and execute a comprehensive social media content calendar across various platforms.
- Engage with the online community and respond promptly to interactions.
Website and microsites Management:
- Maintain and update landing pages, micro-sites, and Youngcare’s main website.
- Ensure SEO optimisation and user-friendly navigation.
SEM and Paid Advertising:
- Execute and manage SEM campaigns using platforms like Google Ads, YouTube Ads, and social media ads.
- Management of campaigns through META Advertising is a must.
- Optimise campaigns to maximise return on investment (ROI).
Content Creation and Distribution:
- Develop and curate engaging digital content (blog posts, videos, photography, infographics, etc).
- Execute email marketing campaigns using Mailchimp, focusing on donor and volunteer engagement.
Graphic Design and Branding:
- Proficient use of Adobe programs like Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign is a must.
- Create visually engaging branding for events and campaigns.
- Develop marketing materials adhering to brand guidelines across a range of formats, including online, small print format (such as flyers and newsletters) and large print format (such as billboards, banners and signage).
Analytics and Reporting:
- Monitor web analytics and social media performance to optimise strategies.
- Generate reports on website traffic, social media engagement, and campaign effectiveness.
Our new team member will be a talented storyteller with a passion for creating engaging content. They will be a great fit for our culture and will also have:
- Relevant degree in Marketing, Communication or arts
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position with a strong focus on Digital Marketing
- Skilled in social media platforms, SEO, data analytics, Email Marketing, and Adobe programs
- Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to prioritise conflicting requests.
- Desirable capabilities in producing, shooting and editing content in a fast-moving environment.
