This is a full-time role based at our head office in Scoresby. We’re seeking a social media and video editing guru to join our Marketing team! Someone creative, enthusiastic, proactive and empathetic would be ideal for this role. You will also be supporting the Marketing & Communications Manager in administering and monitoring our marketing activities, communicating with a highly engaged and loyal global audience, as well as assisting with growing our business in domestic and international markets.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Position Description
- Owning the management of our social media pages; including content collection, creation and curation, preparing content calendars, managing community response and social media page maintenance (FB/Insta/LinkedIn)
- Collecting visual content and editing videos for social media and website use
- Liaising with our advertising agency in creating new paid social ads, optimising ongoing campaigns and some monitoring of campaign performance
- Preparing digital reports and analysis/insights. You must be able to read and interpret data to prepare actionable insights independently
- Assisting with the development and implementation of marketing strategy across all outlets and touchpoints
- Contributing to the rollout of digital projects for website, bi-monthly email marketing and ongoing advertising campaigns, and preparing marketing materials
- Copyediting for email marketing, web content and blogs
- Liaising with the marketing team to track and assign leads from our website and online campaigns, assisting with optimising lead reporting processes
- Preparing, setting up and executing trade shows, both locally and interstate, as needed.
Required Skillset/Experience
- Degree in Marketing/Communications/Business or relevant comms discipline
- Minimum three years of experience with paid and organic social campaign strategy/management/implementation, video editing, EDMs, and content creation for blogs and social media
- Excellent written communication ability, with demonstrated copywriting/editing experience and an eye for detail
- Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to confidently communicate at all levels of an organisation
- High-level social media management skills – including Facebook, Instagram, and occasionally LinkedIn. This includes producing engaging social posts, collating external content, managing interactions with our global audience, navigating Facebook for Business backend and scheduling posts
- Proven excellence in measuring ROI via Google Analytics (GA4) and Facebook analytics, and analysing data to produce quality reports and actionable insights to improve campaigns
- Video editing and basic graphics editing skills are highly desirable (we use Canva)
- Experience working with CMS backends (WordPress) is ideal
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, projects and campaigns
- Ability to work with people of all backgrounds and understanding/sensitivity in preparing content for and working with people with a disability
- Ability to think strategically and identify business growth opportunities
