As we continue to expand our portfolio, we’re looking for a Production Accountant Assistant to join our fun and vibrant team at Manly. You’ll be partaking in our traineeship program managing the various financial aspects of our productions, both the Factual and Scripted slates. You’ll be working closely with our production team to ensure the efficient financial management of all our new and existing projects.
Training Program to include the following aspects of the production
Handle all Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll processes for all productions.
Processing of Payroll, Superannuation
Cast payments and residuals calculations
Preparation of monthly BAS
Accounts Receivable/Payable
Weekly Bank Accounts reconciliation
Production Cashflow Management
Production Cashflow Forecasting
Cost Reporting to include Statement of Investor Funds, Cost Report Narrative, QAPE Federal and State PDV reports
Communication with the Producer and Company Directors in relation to cashflow, and cost reporting
What We’re Looking For:
Xero Software experience
Strong IT knowledge and skills. Proficiency with Excel
Experience in the film and television industry, animation experience preferable
Ability to work collaboratively and independently to meet deadlines.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Must have lived in NSW for at least 6 months
Must be an Australian citizen
