The NSW Labor Party is looking for a Digital Organiser to join our team. This role is focused on supporting NSW Labor’s digital campaign across email, web and other digital channels.
To be considered, expressions of interest must demonstrate how the following attributes are met:
- Demonstrated commitment to the Labor Party and wider Labor movement;
- Extensive understanding of electoral politics and campaigns, including:
- Recent experience campaign experience
- Proven ability to work as an effective team member; and
- An understanding of NSW Labor Rules, structures and conventions.
The roles and responsibilities of the position are:
- Strong written communication skills
- Managing digital teams and projects
- Assisting with Digital growth campaigns
- Knowledge of design software such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
- Familiarity with CRM and social media publishing tools
- Strong digital skills and a willingness to learn new technologies
- Manage competing priorities in a high-pressure environment
- Basic video editing skills
- Ability Monitoring the news and online conversations for timely content opportunities
- Creating, curating and publishing content across NSW Labor’s social channels
- Monitoring social mentions, tags, comments and messages and responding where appropriate
- Drafting copy for digital advertising campaigns
- Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence as it relates to our digital channels.
- Publishing web pages
- Supporting the implementation of digital advertising campaigns.
