The Opportunity
The Mobile Experience - MX division (mobile, tablets & wearables) is looking to step change the results of digital marketing with a particular focus on data & consumer driven Performance Marketing.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Digital Performance Marketing Specialist to develop and execute digital marketing plans, including “always on” Performance Marketing campaigns to generate demand. This includes developing the digital strategy, planning, budgeting, audience segmentation, and tracking/analyzing performance. You will be working collaboratively with multiple internal teams such as MX marketing, Marcomms, Digital & Social Centres-of-Excellence in Corporate Marketing as well as externally with channel partners, agencies and platform organisations.
The key to success in this role is to have a strong understanding of the marketing funnel and the consumer decision journey, with the ability to utilize 1st, 2nd and 3rd party data points to help generate and capture demand. You will need to build a systematic approach to audience approach; data segmentation; benchmarking; forecasting; testing; and optimising our acquisition and retention strategies, across all key product categories
Role and Responsibilities
Digital Strategy: develop and execute digital marketing strategy to achieve business goals with a focus on performance, brand, inbound and outbound marketing across Mobile, Tablets, Wearables and services.
Performance Campaigns: design and manage Performance Marketing campaigns across Google Ads, SEM, and Social to drive targeted results
Campaign Management: plan and manage digital advertising campaigns, optimising for maximum ROI
Data Analytics: utilise data and analytics tools, including Google Analytics, to track and report on the performance of digital marketing initiatives, making data-driven decisions to improve results.
Reporting & Insights: develop comprehensive reporting mechanisms to measure and communicate the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns. Develop and communicate insight based reporting to drive positive business outcomes
Collaboration: collaborate with cross-functional teams and consider the views of the executive board and other business functions to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with overall business strategies.
Agency Management: work with agencies to ensure best plans and content to meet KPIs
Creative: deliver strategic direction and insights around dynamic content creation/production
Channel Partners: work with channel marketing and retail partners to deliver co-branded digital marketing programs and provide expertise in data collaboration
Digital Audiences: create & manage audience frameworks across data sources, collaborating with the Consumer Insights team, and platform partners
Platforms: be confident and capable in the various products across the Google Marketing Platform, able to build dashboards and deliver insights based on consumer engagement
Skills and Qualifications
5+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in the tech, telecommunications or consumer electronics industry
Experience in developing and executing digital marketing strategies, as well as comprehensive reporting.
Hands-on experience with digital marketing, including Digital Performance media and optimisation
Experience with Adobe Audience Manager, and Google Marketing Platform products & services
Understanding of digital tools and platforms including web analytics skills
Experience with data optimisation techniques, leveraging AB testing, dynamic creative and data triggers
Ability to manage and oversee campaign budgets and quotes
Ability to deliver insights and analytics from reporting, data driven approach to strategy
Strong written and verbal skills to confidently liaise with team members and senior leadership
Passion for all things digital, core understanding of consumers paths and interaction metrics across digital channels
Ability to work efficiently and effectively within fast paced environment
