At Jetstar, we are seeking a strong candidate to help drive our Customer Identity and Profiles program vision and to act as the voice of the customer. As the Digital Product Owner, you will shape and deliver our Customer Identity and Profiles strategy to enhance and provide more value to our MyAccount customer proposition and experience, ensure our identity management systems evolve to keep customers protected, and deliver enhancements to our Club Jetstar membership programme experience.

You will work closely with the Senior Product Lead for Service and Jetstar team members, taking responsibility for setting, prioritising, and evaluating the work generated by the delivery teams to ensure impeccable features and functionality are released in an Agile way.

The core responsibilities of this role will be:

  • Defining the product vision, roadmap and growth opportunities for our free MyAccount customer profile proposition, to provide customers with more reasons to sign up and sign into an account when transacting with us.
  • Work closely with the Club Jetstar and Customer Profiles Product Manager to provide enhancements to our Club Jetstar paid membership and free My Account profile experiences.
  • Uplifting our customers' identity profile with booking product defaults, and management of their communication preferences
  • Manage the on-going operation of our identity and access management capability and pro-actively looking for opportunities to optimise and improve application user-experience, security protections and efficiency.
  • Own the end-to-end technical solution encompassing our identity and customer profile management platforms, integrations, and data management.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders including Digital Experience, Ancillary Revenue and Customer Care to create and maintain a product backlog per business value and return on investment.
  • Provide vision and direction to the Agile development teams and stakeholders throughout the projects, and work with a BA to create requirements.
  • Plan, prioritise and manage the product feature backlog and development for the products.
  • Ensure iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories is of the correct standard whilst maintaining that the team always has an adequate backlog of prepared tasks to work on
  • Assess value, develop cases and opportunity, prioritise stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy.
  • Help lead the product release plans and set expectation for delivery of new functionalities.
  • Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
  • Follow our competitors and the industry, but most importantly drive innovation & a best-in- class experience.

To be considered, key skills will include:

  • 3+ years' experience as a Product Owner, CRM expert (preferably Salesforce) or similar role in software development
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, Technology, or similar relevant field, preferred
  • Experience in identity access management (IAM) e.g.: Okta/Auth0.
  • Knowledge of Agile process and principles and experience working Scrum
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Creative thinker with a vision
  • Excellent attention to detail, influencing skills
