Attachments:Contribute to a healthier future for our children and adolescents!This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent and Fixed Term appointments, with the possibility of extension(s).We currently have a fixed term, part time 0.8 FTE opportunity available for six (6) months fixed term, with possibility of extension or permanency from 1 July 2024.CRVCID593470Position ProfileWe are seeking a Information Systems Support Officer to provide IT and digital system coordination, and application and system support to our community-based teams at the Child and Adolescent Community Health Service (CACH).Reporting to the ICT Manager, and working together with a team of 2 clinical application specialists, and System Support Officers, you will ensure smooth operation and effective use of the Child Development Information System (CDIS) and Genie, a practice management software used by paediatricians.You will work with system users to identify and understand problems and provide first level support for the CDIS and Genie along with basic trouble shooting.You will also assist in delivering Digital Projects and Services through responding to stakeholder queries and co-ordinating project tasks.The ideal candidate will have understanding of or experience with CDIS, Genie, or similar clinical applications, and an understanding of data management policies, including FOI (Freedom of Information Act) requests and patient confidentiality.Key responsibilities for the position include:

  • Serving as the primary contact and triage point for Community Health Information System users needing support and issue resolution.
  • Utilising specialist knowledge to analyse and resolve issues with Community Health electronic Information Systems, supporting system access, functionality, and service applications.
  • Maintaining and updating the CDIS manual and training guides to reflect current work practices.
  • Supporting and delivering training for users of the Community Health information system.
  • Coordinating timely processing of health-related data, including managing access and collation of electronic records for endorsed medico-legal requests for Community Health clients.
