About The Role
We are looking for a Digital Specialist, Workforce Applications to deliver ongoing clinical application support and major service improvements by applying application specific technical expertise and relevant clinical knowledge to achieve optimal business outcomes.
We understand flexible work is a priority for most people and have the systems and policies in place to support it. This may include a mix of working from home and / or in one of our offices in Chatswood and St Leonards.

Skills
If you are an Digital Specialist, Workforce Applications, with SQL skills, an understanding of the healthcare sector, and a desire to become part of a self-motivated team in the health care sector, then we encourage you to apply. The skills, knowledge and experience we are looking for in you include:
- Extensive experience in application support and maintenance in a large and complex/diverse service industry, and working with patient management and administration systems, integration services, database services including relevant qualifications or equivalent.
- Strong analytical skills including the ability to analyse and interpret information, problem troubleshooting and resolution, prepare written reports, deal with challenges creatively and achieve business focused solutions.
- Previous experience supporting and troubleshooting of HL7 interfaces.
- Proven capability in the use of Crystal Report software
- Experience in system and user testing of applications and use of appropriate testing tools and methodologies
- Superior experience and a record of achievement in leading a team and managing highly complex and large technical projects.
- Proven engagement, collaboration, and negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to build, maintain and use relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated organisational skills and experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment with a capacity to prioritise competing demands and achieve results with a customer focused approach.

- Describe your high-level experience in SQL or a SQL derivative and in change control management/version control process, the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), user testing, troubleshooting applications, the use of appropriate methodologies and developing quality documentation.
- Describe your demonstrated experience and understanding of relational database design and working with large and complex databases (preferably health databases) with proven capability in the use of MS Visio, Project, SQL Server, and Crystal Report software, including previous experience supporting and troubleshooting of HL7 interfaces.
