We are seeking a Digital Training Manager for a period of 12 months in Darwin, for the Northern Territory Government.
You will have the opportunity to live in Darwin, and work in the Darwin CBD.
This is a senior lead role, and you will be responsible for the delivery of the training strategy and the development, implementation and management of training plans and resources.
You will work closely with various training providers, managers and end users. These include program teams, Subject Matter Experts, Business Analysts, Business Process Officers, Project Managers, Change, Communications and Training Team members and other program resources.
About the RoleWork as part of the wider Implementation Team in a coordinated approach across multiple locations and Agencies to conduct activities such as:
- Lead and manage trainers and training support officers to effectively implement the training strategy and plans and other training deliverables.
- Establish and maintain productive working partnerships across NT Agencies in relation to clinical information systems training including design, delivery and assessment of training effectiveness.
- Deliver on the Training Strategy and ensure the smooth transition of resources and skills from the Program to Agencies as the program progresses.
- Promote consistent and robust system use by all staff to support them in their roles.
- Develop, maintain and deliver effective training plans to ensure the production of training materials, utilising various media including classroom instructor-led training, e-learning and Madcap Flare knowledge base etc.
- Undertake training validation, based on the Change Plans, to include any necessary training gaps or required changes to the training plans to make it specific to the area of service or site.
- Participate in "Go-Live" activities to ensure that users feel supported and that the necessary training and change activities have occurred and are effective.
About You
- Experience in the management of training delivery for a project or program of significant size.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage the training function to support meaningful change, enabled by technology, in a healthcare environment.
- Excellent knowledge of principles, frameworks and methodologies relevant to adult education, including:
- training needs assessments and analysis
- training program design and delivery, including e-learning approaches
- competency-based training
- evaluation of training effectiveness
- Proven understanding of current and emerging trends in information technology relevant to the delivery of training programs
- High level knowledge of Australian standards applicable to the delivery of training in a clinical health environment
- Well demonstrated application of strategies, tactics and protocols that enable effective relationships across a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
- Tertiary qualifications in healthcare would be advantageous
- Previous experience working in a healthcare program/project, also advantageous
Clearance Requirements
- National Police Clearance will be required
- Working with Children (OCHRE) will be required
