Mordialloc Cafe has been running 13 years successfully mainly serving breakfast and lunch. And we are now going to add 5 days dinner to change the business to be Cafe restaurant style and We are looking for someone who is passionate and motivated and wanting to put their own spin on the menu.
The new Dinner Head Chef will in charge of the dinner and duties will be
- Work with our breakfast Head chef, analyse and understand customer habits to create and develop new dinner menu
- Training and mentoring your team
- Managing health and safety protocols within the kitchen
- Ensuring adherence to food hygiene practices
- Handling ordering processes and overseeing prep lists
- Maintaining kitchen and food safety standards
Skills and Experience Required
- Understanding of current food trends and common dietary requirements
- Associate’s degree, diploma in relevant Hospitality qualification.
- Strong knowledge of menu creation
- Teamwork-oriented with outstanding leadership abilities.
- Preferably 2 years + of relevant work experience.
