Bocatta presents an elevated, yet casual Italian kitchen and wine bar, artfully viewed through a Melbourne lens. Bocatta meaning ‘mouthful’ is a vibrant dining concept that marries Italian favourites with a contemporary touch, embracing local ingredients and Victorian wines to deliver a dining experience that's both modern and refreshingly inviting. At Bocatta, the essence of Italian is reimagined with Melbourne's vibrant food scene in mind, creating a menu that highlights the best of both worlds and as you would expect to see in inner Carlton or Fitzroy.

What we are looking for:
We are looking for someone passionate that will position Bocatta as the godfather of dining experiences in Melbourne Airport. The food you prepare, cook and serve will make every Nonna jealous!
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience with local market knowledge in hospitality industry.
- Passion, interest and confidence in locally sourced products, coffee, wine & spirits, ensuring quality and consistency of our offering.
- A commitment to providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
- Exceptional leadership skills with demonstrated results in developing and motivating teams, your lead by example approach will be infectious.
What you will be doing:
- Inspiring the evening team, leading by example to ensure our customers. have a genuinely unforgettable dining experience.
- Driving sales, bookings and upselling.
- Staff rostering.
- Managing stock control.
- Creating promotions and events to drive revenue.
- Recruiting, on boarding, training, rostering, coaching, motivating and managing team members.
Additional Information
Our Hotel - The Novotel & ibis styles Melbourne Airport is a new dual-branded, 464-room hotel opening on 1 July 2024.
The Novotel Melbourne Airport with 248 rooms, and ibis Styles Melbourne Airport with 216 rooms, will be located just steps away from Terminal 4, Melbourne Airport. Guests will enjoy access to a fitness centre, conference rooms, pool, co working space and a number of food & beverage venues which form the hub of the mixed-use precinct.
This will be a village centre supporting the airport community as a place to gather and socialise for everyone who travels and works from the airport precinct.
