About the Centre/Service Lake Boga Primary School is the service provider for the Lake Boga Pre School and works closely to provide a rich and engaging program to prepare children for a seamless transition to primary school. In 2024, we have eleven 4 year old and twelve 3 year old students enrolled in 15 hours of pre school. 3 and 4 yo preschool are taught together on Thursdays and separately on Tuesday and Wednesday. Lake Boga Preschool is committed to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children in our care. We are committed to the safety, participation and empowerment of all children. We have zero tolerance for child abuse and all allegations and safety concerns will be treated very seriously and consistently with our robust policies nd procedures. - Lake Boga Pre School is seeking a Diploma Qualified Educator to join our team. You will work with your colleagues in a stand alone pre school service attached to Lake Boga Primary School.
- This position is for the remainder of 2024 with the possibility of a permanent contract for the right applicant. The hours are negotiable depending on the level of responsibility for administration tasks.
- The roles and responsibilities of our ECT include but are not limited to: Planning, implementing and evaluating educational programs and practices. Following and implementing the National Quality Framework (NQF) including the National Quality Standard (NQS) requirements. Ensuring compliance with service policies and national and/or state based legislation. Building and maintaining strong relationships with children and their families. Engaging with our wider community and external services
- The ideal candidate for this position will possess: Diploma qualification or equivalent as recognized by ACECQA.
