Company:TAFE institute providing training and vocational education in Hospitality, Tourism and Culinary Arts.
Role:Provide professional and timely administrative process and operational support to programs to support the enrolment to International lifecycle of students.
Responsibilities:- Monitor class lists to effectively monitor students' class attendance and academic progress.
- Manage responses to student enquiries, requests and complaints effectively and in a timely manner to enhance the student experience.
- Coordinate the administrative requirements of off-shore International students and handling all associated communications with accuracy and effectiveness.
- Provide assistance and support at Orientation, graduation and various other activities organised by the Institute.
- Work collaboratively with other staff reporting to the Student Management Leader to ensure a coordinated and consistent approach to student management across the Institute.
- Undertake a range of administrative and coordination activities directly related to the position.
Experience and skills:- Demonstrated experience providing administrative services.
- Demonstrated experience in a customer service environment.
- A high level of attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated computer skills and proficiency in the Microsoft suite is required. Experience using student management systems (specifically Technology One Student Management) and/or electronic direct mail software is desirable.
- Expectational written and verbal communication skills.
