Job Description:
  • Multiple locations (Region 7) including but not limited too -
  • Permanent Full Time - Monday to Friday, 8 hours, accruing a monthly RDO
  • Qualification: Teacher or Diploma
The KU Permanent Relief Team works across our services to cover leave taken by permanent staff, playing a pivotal role in supporting our services in their success. The Permanent Relief Team is a close-knit network of early childhood education professionals who are passionate about teaching and caring for children. Suited for a fully qualified teacher with previous 'Teacher in Charge' or Director experience as well as the ability to step in to lead and manage a room, supporting educators with program implementation and development. At critical times you may be asked to step into a Director role for a short period, or if longer undertake the Nominated Supervisor role. There will be some travel involved in which you will receive a travel allowance for.

Of course, you will need:
  • An ACCEQA recognised Early Childhood Teaching degree or Diploma in Early Childhood,
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates, Teachers also require separate approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management certificates
  • Teacher Accreditation for the relevant state,
  • Completed training in Child Protection legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children,
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011),
  • Drivers License and own vehicle (travel allowance included)
