About your new role:
- Your passion and enthusiasm will see you assist in leading a classroom by effectively engaging with children, families, Educators, and the wider community.
- You will implement the educational program and experiences to meet the individual needs of our children.
- You will have a strong knowledge of the EYLF and NQS.
- You will work at all times in compliance with Government regulations and centre policies and procedures to meet our high-quality standards.
- You will network with relevant stakeholders in the local community.
- You will have confidence in building strong relationships and partnerships with children and families.
- You will have the ability to contribute to the documentation of the children's skills and interests, and include a clear cycle of reflective practice.
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
- A Diploma or higher qualification in Children’s Services as approved by ACECQA.
- Current approved first aid, anaphylaxis and asthma qualifications.
- Current Employment Working with Children Check.
- Experience in an early childhood setting.
- A sound understanding of the EYLF and NQF.
- Prior experience and confidence in leading a classroom setting and writing educational programs.
- Strong leadership skills and an ability to confidently guide and mentor your peers.
- The ability to implement stimulating programs, and develop a curriculum based on the children's interests and the EYLF.
- The ability to observe and record children’s learning and contribute to their educational portfolios.
