About the role
We are seeking Educators who hold a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care to join our Diploma Traineeship program for 2024 where learning meets real-world experience. Designed to empower individuals with hands-on training, this program offers a unique pathway towards professional growth and leadership within Discovery Early Learning. Discovery will pay the full costs of your diploma, subject to terms and conditions to be discussed with successful applicants.
You'll benefit from continuous support and paid study days dedicated to supporting your journey towards completing your Diploma. Embrace flexibility with the option to work 24-32 hours per week, ensuring a balance between your study commitments and personal life.
You may be appointed to a service in either Ulverstone or Burnie.
Duties
- Observe children to identify individual needs, interests, and developmental progress
- Assist with Educational programming and routines
- Work collaboratively with other educators to coordinate activities
- Commit to completing all study requirements per your study plan
You must have:
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care
- Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Registration – or willingness to obtain
- Regular availability and flexibility to work a range of shifts during our opening hours
