The EL2 Business Improvement is accountable to deliver quality outcomes across the Enabling Services Transformation and Improvement functions of Federal Government based in Geelong. This is a 6 month assignment paying a daily rate. The position is an important team leadership position and will have delegated authority and responsibility to resolve issues and risks across wide-ranging activities of substantial depth involving significant detail. The role is required to provide leadership, control, planning, resource management, performance management and decision making for the team membership and assigned Contractors working within the work area. Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to: Leading multiple Business Improvement engagements that transition business experiences to their desired future states.Driving operating model maturity, process uplift and transformation in end-to-end business outcomes.Developing a business architecture to optimise business operations and processes.Applying improvement frameworks to drive improved business outcomes.Empowering business areas with change management support to embed the business area transformation and improvements.Establishing a governance structure for tracking and monitoring portfolio progress.Leading a dedicated team of improvement practitioners, embedding collaborative efforts with initiative owners.Tailoring and developing initiatives that directly enhance the operational efficiency of their respective business areas.Key skills required for roleEnterprise business architecture experienceImprovement framework experience (specifically Lean methodologies)Ability and experience in implementing Business ImprovementsStrong stakeholder management skillsetEnhancement and transformation of end-to-end business processes and outcomes (including developing operating model maturity)Government and change management experience would be advantageous To ApplyAs this role is with a Federal Government Agency, applicants are required to be Australian Citizens.Click 'Apply Now' to submit your application.
