AddressLittle Patch ELC is currently seeking an experienced and passionate Centre Director to join and lead our “exceeding” rated early learning Centre located in St Kilda East. This rare opportunity is open to candidates who can demonstrate a strong and dynamic work ethic, the ability to lead and motivate a team of educators and most importantly the ability to maintain the “exceeding” level of quality that Little Patch ELC has been awarded (in every quality area). As a Centre Director you will be responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day operations. As a family owned and operated Centre you will join a close-knit team that work tirelessly and collaboratively to deliver the best outcomes for children.
Key Responsibilities
- Champion the Little Patch ELC philosophy and values.
- Work closely and collaboratively with the management team and Approved provider to build on excellence in care and education.
- Develop and implement strategies to maintain maximum occupancy
- Ensure all legislative requirements, policies and procedures are met and maintained.
- Demonstrate and deliver leadership skills and strategies that drive motivation and innovation with the team
- Develop and maintain community connections.
- Establish and maintain positive relationship with current and prospective families.
The successful candidate will have:
- Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Centre Director.
- Demonstrated experience of managing a Service through assessment and rating at exceeding level (desired)
- Exceptional leadership and management skills including the ability to inspire, motivate and maintain a positive team culture
- Highly developed time management skills, including the development of systems and schedules to increase efficiency
- Knowledge of a range of software platforms including Qikkids, StoryPark and Deputy (preferred)
- Advanced IT skills
- Solid record of building positive relationships with families and community engagement
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Child safe Standards and Child Protection.
