Salary Range: $140,226 - $157,418 (PN: 66098)
Major Projects Canberra is seeking an experienced individual to lead the planning, set up and delivery of engagement, stakeholder management and communications strategies for large-scale Territory infrastructure projects, starting with the new Northside Hospital Project in Bruce - the largest single health infrastructure project to be delivered in the Territory’s history.
As Director, Communications and Engagement, you will work collaboratively with the project team, Project Director and as a mentor and leader within the Major Projects Canberra Communications and Engagement team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in infrastructure Communications and an understanding of the complexities of large-scale project delivery in government.
If you have a strong background in Communications and Engagement, experience managing complex and challenging stakeholder relationships, a collaborative and supportive work ethic, and exceptional project management and organisational skills, then this could be the next role for you.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:
Desirable:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications, or a minimum of 5-8 years-experience working professionally in the fields of communications, community engagement or public participation.
- Trained and certified in IAP2 or equivalent best practice community engagement.
- The ability to work flexibly with some out of hours work may be required.
Notes: This position is available immediately for six months with the possibility of extension up to 12 months and/or permanency. Selection may be based on referee reports and written application only. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
